NEW! Fire Occupational Licensing for 2009

Fire Occupational Licensing will be introduced in Queensland commencing 1st January 2009.  This means that all persons working in the fire protection industry will be required to hold a licence for their specific type of work from the Qld Building Services Authority.  Licence classes include:

  • Emergency Lighting
  • Fire Hydrants and Hose Reels
  • Passive Fire Protection Fire and Smoke Walls and Ceilings
  • Portable Fire Equipment and Hose Reels (Hose Reels Down Stream of Stop Cock ONLY)
  • Emergency Procedures
  • Fire Pumps
  • Passive Fire Protection Fire Collars Penetrations and Joint Ceiling
  • Special Hazard Suppression System
  • Fire Detection Alarm and Warning Systems
  • Fire Safety Professional
  • Passive Fire Protection Fire Doors and Shutter
  • Sprinkler and Suppression Systems (Reticulated Water Based)

DELTRA Australia is currently able to provide relevant technical qualifications for the following licenses:
