General

Invoices for corporate training and services are issued at the completion of the scope of work.

The term for payment of corporate training and services invoices is STRICTLY 14 days.

Failure to pay corporate training and services invoices by the due date incurs the late fee.

 

Public Courses

Unless otherwise negotiated, all training and assessment must be completed within 12 months of date of commencement of the course.

Failure to submit required assessment within the 12 month period will result in certification being finalised and issued for the completed units of competency only.

Students wishing to complete outstanding assessment outside of the 12 month period are required to re-enrol in the relevent units of competency, and complete all associated requirements therein.


Emergency Response and First Aid Training

Unless negotiated, all emergency response training is to be conducted on the same day for the same site.

Notice of cancellation by the client given less than 48 hours prior to the training date incurs a 40% cancellation fee.  Where a Trainer attends on site and training is subsequently cancelled by the client, the cancellation fee is the full amount of the scheduled training.

Contract discounts apply: 2-year contract incurs 2.5% discount, 3-year contract incurs 5% discount, 4-year contract incurs 7.5% discount.

Contract prices subject to annual CPI adjustment.

Water fire extinguishers are used for fire extinguisher training.  Carbon dioxide extinguishers may be used upon request.  A CO2 surcharge applies, and a donation is made to Greenfleet to offset the carbon emission.

 

Training Compliance Package QLD Compliance Guarantee

The Guarantee applies to services conducted at sites located in Queensland and in accordance with Part 4 Divisions 5 to 8 only of the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation (BFSR) 2008.

The Guarantee does not apply to emergency plans and evacuation diagrams as per Part 4 Divisions 2 and 3 of the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008.

The Guarantee is only valid when the client adheres to and implements all recommendations provided by DELTRA Australia.

The Guarantee is made null and void where the client re-schedules training outside the annual program scheduled by DELTRA Australia.

DELTRA Australia takes no responsibility for staff non-attendance at training sessions, or failure to participate in webinars or complete required online training.

Notification of a failed Queensland Fire and Rescue Authority (QFRS) audit of the BFSR 2008 Divisions listed in Item 1 must be given to DELTRA Australia in writing no more than three (3) business days after the audit.  A copy of the QFRS audit report must be supplied to DELTRA Australia.

To rectify a failed QFRS audit of the BFSR 2008 Divisions listed in Item 1, the client agrees to release applicable staff to attend face-to-face training sessions, participate in evacuation exercises, participate in webinars and/or complete online training as specified by DELTRA Australia and at a time specified by DELTRA Australia.

Where a claim meets the terms and conditions of this guarantee, the client is eligible for 50% off the annual fee for the next 12 months’ Agreement which is of equal or lesser value than the Agreement against which the claim is made.  The 50% discount may not be substituted for cash and is not transferrable to another site or company.


Emergency Plans and Procedures Manuals

Additional hours (over the minimum) required for the development of emergency plans and procedures manuals are charged at consultation rate.

Where a Trainer attends on site for a plan mark-up and the appointment is subsequently cancelled by the client, a cancellation fee is charged at consultation rate for the amount of time the Trainer is on site, minimum charge 1 hour plus travel ex. Brisbane.

One (1) only round of amendments is provided during development stage. Additional rounds of amendments charged at consultation rate.

Electronic copies of emergency plans and procedures manuals incur annual license fee.

Electronic copies of emergency plans and procedures are to be reviewed and re-issued annually.  An expiry date is recorded on electronic copies of emergency plans and procedures. The review, and amendments required during the review process, is charged at consultation rate.

Hard copies of emergency plans and procedures are to be reviewed 3-yearly.  An expiry date is recorded on all emergency plans and procedures.  The review, and amendments required during the review process, is charged at consultation rate.

Emergency Evacuation Signs

Additional hours (over the minimum) required for the development of emergency evacuation signs are charged at consultation rate.

One (1) only round of amendments is provided during development stage. Additional rounds of amendments charged at consultation rate.

Electronic copies of emergency evacuation signs incur annual license fee.

Electronic copies of emergency evacuation signs are to be reviewed and re-issued annually.  An expiry date is recorded on electronic copies of emergency plans and procedures. The review, and amendments required during the review process, is charged at consultation rate.

Hard copies of emergency evacuation signs are to be reviewed 3-yearly.  An expiry date is recorded on all emergency evacuation signs.  The review, and amendments required during the review process, is charged at consultation rate.

Emergency evacuation signs are supplied only. Installation of signs charged at consultation rate.

Client to provide electronic and/or hard copies of architectural building plans. Where plans are not supplied, initial hand-drawn building plans charged at consultation rate.

Emergency Response Flipcharts

Additional hours (over the minimum) required for the development of emergency procedures flipcharts are charged at consultation rate.

One (1) only round of amendments is provided during development stage. Additional rounds of amendments charged at consultation rate.

Emergency response flipcharts are to be reviewed 3-yearly.  An expiry date is recorded on all emergency response flipcharts.  The review, and amendments required during the review process, is charged at consultation rate.

Fire Safety Management Plans

Additional hours (over the minimum) required for the development of fire safety management plans are charged at consultation rate.

One (1) only round of amendments is provided during development stage. Additional rounds of amendments charged at consultation rate.

Client to provide electronic and/or hard copies of architectural building plans. Where plans are not supplied, initial hand-drawn building plans charged at consultation rate.
